Intensive blood pressure control improves cardiovascular outcomes in patients at high risk for CVD. There was a modest risk of serious adverse events.

• Normal Blood Pressure, <120/80mmHg

• Elevated Blood Pressure, 120-129/<80mmHg

• HTN stage I, 130-139/80-89mmHg

• HTN stage II, >140/90
