COPEPTIN – A Copeptin-Based Approach in the Diagnosis of Diabetes Insipidus

The final reference diagnosis in this study was determined on the basis of history, test results and treatment response, with copeptin levels masked.

Hypertonic saline-stimulated copeptin evaluation was superior to the standard water deprivation test, in distinguishing central diabetes insipidus from primary polydipsia.
